Il Vicino in Colorado Springs

Got our food super fast and it was so good!

First time here, but I was very impressed. The [burrata] salad was fresh, and the pizza [Tartufo] was a great blend of flavors. The crust crispy and thin, and the chili oil they have on every table kicked it up even more. The staff walking friendly and I was probably five minutes after sitting down. Also, very good mango iced tea.

Really love their Pizza & Tiramisu!! Im coming to this place for years, sometimes 3 to 4 times a month. Tonight was the first time that i didnt recieve what I ordered. Still like the place just have to make sure to check my food before I leave.

The spicy oil is TO DIE FOR. I would drink it straight if I could. Food is always amazing.

First time to this location. The downtown location was our favorite. Service was better downtown. We ate with our son here. Took a little longer than we were use to, no worries. Then our sons pizza came out without the sausage we ordered. No worries they made a new one without asking. My wife and I pizza was burnt. They did not remake our pizza. Due to time after we spoke with the manager, we opted not to wait on another pizza. The manager was nice and respectful. She did give us a free pizza for our next visit. We hope it goes better next time.

I had high hopes for this place. The name sounds classy. The menu and the wording sounds classy. The pizza was pretty good except for ... canned mushrooms? Are you kidding me? And then there was the salad. About a 50/50 mix of green and brown. This is for delivery so I don't know if whoever was making it didn't care or they figured they could slip it in for delivery. Brown lettuce is one of the biggest turn-offs in the food industry. It's probably worth it to make sure you don't send out brown lettuce.

When we travel we typically look for a good wood fire pizza and this place is probably the best we've ever had!

The wood-fired pizza and salads are very good, and the staff is very friendly! We have eaten here a number of times and usually get the small pizza and salad special. However, tonight we ordered two regular sized pizzas to go, one regular crust and one gluten-free. The gluten-free pizza was $3 or 25% extra, which is a common up charge, however, the pizza was at least 25% smaller than the other regular sized pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a gluten free crust, but it should be the same size as the regular pizza for the up-charge. $14 for a small gluten-free pizza is just too much.

This restaurant absolutely knocks it out the park each time I visit. I would recommend stopping here during the middle of the week, due to the popularity of the trendy-crowd on the weekends. The flourless desserts are just plain great. They are also willing to fully customize your pizza orders. They do an outstanding job when you ask for extra toppings as well. Would definitely bring my wife's family here to impress them.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this restaurant, the service and the pizza. The restaurant is a little small, but I also went there on a Saturday evening. This is a bit of an upscale restaurant that as many wine options and also beer on tap. When you walk in, you order at the counter and then take a seat. A server comes over to deliver your drinks in your food when it is ready. The nice part of that, is that they continuously check on you make sure you have everything you need during your time there.

I was very disappointed when I learned the downtown location was closing. Il Vicino's pizzas are always spot on, and their Caesar salad is my favorite around - traditional, tangy, and fresh.I now must make the trip north to enjoy Il Vicino, but to me, it's well worth the trek. The staff at this location have always been friendly and attentive, and the product is consistent. Keep up the good work y'all!

Great customer service very friendly and very fast service.I must say absolutely the best pizza I've ever had. I was especially happy with he fact that my My 2 yr old loved it ate every single bite he never eats all of his pizza.I highly recommend trying this place ❤️😋😋😋😋 thank you all for a great experience we will definitely be back for more.

In love with this place! We were craving a good Italian and we were not disappointed! The pizzas were delicious! Gluten free crust available for an upcharge. The wine selections was really good as well. The kiddo dish of pasta was the perfect size. Desserts were amazing! I'm recommending for sure and we will be coming back here! Our hostess (Riley?) Was super friendly, very sweet and very fun! She was great!

It's good pizza but the whole experience is kind of odd. You order your pizza/food at the front counter, seat yourself and then a server delivers your drinks and pizza. This setup is just odd to me because it's like fast food with a server. I would have refilled my water several times while I was there, but because you have to wait for a server for a refill, they didn't offer once. I believe there's only one or two servers for the entire dining room so they're trying to take care of a lot of people at once. They need some sort of mechanism in the dining room that communicates to the servers that you'd like a refill or require service. I'm not the type of person to waive someone down and be like, "Um, waiter..." I'm probably not alone. I'd rather go to another pizza place where I can take care of myself throughout the dining experience than wait on someone else to wait on me.

Pizza is great. The caesar salad I paid extra to add chicken was not. There was barely any chicken added and croutons were so dry or old almost broke my teeth. And please don't add that cherry thing on a cheesecake it taste so bad. Like medicine. I thought I'm eating it with NyQuil.

This was our first time eating here at this restaurant everyone was so nice and friendly. Very fast service didn't wait long at all. I especially like it because my 2 yr old is very picky and never really eats pizza but he loved this pizza he ate every single bite. I wanna thank the staff for having such amazing food and amazing customer service.. thank you all so much we will definitely be back.

The food was delicious! The lady who took our order (I believe her name was Jonna) was very friendly and took our order efficiently. The waiter who served us was also very attentive and made sure we were satisfied with our meal. Great food, great service!

Simply the most efficient fresh best homemade wood oven pizza and salad I’ve ever had!! even for those on a budget. They offer the special for $12.50 pizza, salad and drink. It’s always clean when I have been here. I wish there where more around town to enjoy. I will continue to be a loyal customer when I want good wholesome fresh pizza & salad..

First time to this pizza place. What a find for us. The place was clean, staff was friendly and the food was amazing. I got a small pizza, 1/2 enfree salad and a drink for $13. Not bad. The pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven. So dang good. The salad was fresh and crisp. Sorry I forgot to get pics as I couldn't help but dig right in as soon as it got to the table. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Alfredo was good but had to add chicken and it was a bit pricey, but casino panini was a good sandwich, again pricey

A cool casual joint that's quick and good value. A good place for the family, as everyone can find something to enjoy. Good beer selection on tap and the food matches that. Service is always quick and attentive.

Celebrated a birthday lunch with a friend on the patio today. Our pizza and salads were delicious! The choc tart was yummy! We had excellent customer service with Ben! He was very outgoing and made our experience exceptional! Thanks, Ben!

Nice restaurant situated in a really nice new strip development with an absolutely awesome view of Pikes Peak. What's not to like about this restaurant? The food was good and prices were reasonable for this type of pizza. Plenty of parking and if you need the shop while you're out and about, this really is the shopping center for you. Lowe's is close by, as are Costco and Kohl's. If you like Trader Joe's, they are just around the corner, too.

One of my favorite wood-fired pizza places. Always good food and friendly staff with decent prices. Generally, less than $15 per meal.

We ate here for the first time and really enjoyed the food. The cheesecake was amazing and our server was friendly and helpful. She explained a lot on the menu without making us feel rushed.

The pizza here is great. So far best pizza I have had in the springs. I do not know if it is the sauce or how fresh the toppings are. maybe it's the crust IDK. Definitely recommend eating here if you enjoy good pizza.

Great pizza. Ingredients were fresh and their fire oil was addictive. The cannolis were the best ones I’ve had.

Really good unique pizzas, a little on the expensive side. Mango ice tea is really good. Service was decent.

I go here often and everyone here definitely goes above the expected service-quality. I’ve worked in retail and food all my life, and these people are professional, but extremely nice as well. I really do love going here not just for the great food but also the service. And, they accept pocket points- which is great for broke university students. (:

The staff are super helpful and professional, the facility is clean and homey, the food is delicious and the view from the patio is sublime! We ALWAYS hit this Il Vicino when we are in town!

We just arrived in Colorado springs and thought we would order delivery. We received two burnt 7" pizzas and Something that is supposed to be a calzone (burnt on top, under cooked on the bottom) the marina sauce is delicious, but I am truly disappointed.

Comfortable, modern, woodfire pizza restaurant. with take away and dine in options. Staff were friendly and efficient, proving great service even during Covid19 🥂 nicely cooled inside seating, and patio seating with gorgeous views of the front range.Delicious pizza!!! The dough alone is incredible, and the toppings were just the right level of generous. Be sure to try their signature spicy olive oil in the center of your table! It's delicious on pizza... Lasagna Bolognese was delicious too... Such rich source, and a fantastic blend of cheeses.Highly recommend, will be back 👌

Caesar Salad was a little dry, but that could just be we prefer it saucier.The two pizzas we had, pepperoni plus ricotta and pesto chicken and feta, were both incredible. The crusts were perfect, thin thick crisp and chewy all at the same time.

Really liked the ordering process. Didn't have to wait for server at end or feel rushed to leave. Patio has excellent view of pulpit rock. Spicy oil to dip crust in is nice. Pizza cooked well not overdone.

If you are a doordash driver or Uber Eats or any type of food delivery for the love of God please do not pick up at this place they will not have your food ready or on time in the communication is very poor. Who knew Colorado Springs had good Cheese Cake!!?? Im not eating chocolate at the moment so i had to try the cheese cake plain but is was sooo great. Wasn't expecting to much from this pizza place but surprisingly the pizza was good. The wait wasnt long and the customer service was A1.

I've been to both locations this one was not as good as the one in town. Their pizza is good, I am not a fan of how thick their trust is though. I wish they would go with a thinner crust
